Opportunity Network

The Opportunity Network (OppNet) ignites the drive, curiosity, and agency of underrepresented students on their paths to and through college and into thriving careers, powered by our commitment to access and community. OppNet envisions a nation connected through vibrant communities and networks actively in pursuit of social justice and educational equity — a nation where all young people can freely create their own path to enduring success that honors their passions, ambitions, and full identities.

OppNet served 10 students when it launched its six-year Fellows program almost 20 years ago. Today, they proudly serve more than 1,000 Fellows with results that far exceed national outcomes:

• 92% of OppNet Fellows graduate from college in six years, • 93% are the first in their families to graduate from college, and, • 89% secure jobs that align with their career interests or admission into graduate school within six months of college graduation.

Additionally, our community has inspired us to expand our programs and curricula nationally, reaching almost 20,000 young people of color through Career Fluency® Partnerships, UninterruptED: Unstoppable Learning, and Opportunity Ignited.
